As it was with the wildly successful Hip-Hop themed variants Marvel Comics has debuted the first of its rock themed covers that are set to hit comic book store shelves this fall.  The initial group of five rock variants will include Mike Hawthorne and Nathan Fairbairn’s take on the iconic cover to Nirvana’s Nevermind for Guardians of the Galaxy #9, Damion Scott’s version of the Guns N’ Roses Appetite for Destruction cover for Inhumans: Once and Future Kings #2, Marco Rudy’s remix of the The Clash’s classic London Calling cover for Mighty Thor #23 and Daniel Acuna’s vision of Blondie’s Parallel Lines for X-Men Blue #11. They will be joined by Mike Del Mundo’s cover for X-Men Gold #11, which has not yet been revealed.
